Francis has delivered this beautifully anachronistic visual treatment for British indie pop band Blossoms, styled in a classic rock aesthetic and featuring a femme fatale who has stolen the lead singer’s heart.

Francis directed this beautiful underwater video for Birdy’s new track “Wild Horses” for her new album “Beautiful Lies. The singer is transformed into an ethereal mermaid who encounters a deep sea diver

BLOOM TWINS "AMNESIA"

Francis directed this photographic monochrome video for the Bloom Twins. This fashion influenced video was born out of an experimental wish to work with liquids and substances to create beautifully surreal imagery.

DAKOTA "LONG HOT SUMMER"

Francis had the pleasure of taking this video back home to Portugal. Shot over one very hot day in and around the Lisbon area we watch Dakota as she ditches her day job and hits the road with some friends- “Long hot summer” just like it says on the tin!

NICK BREWER FT SINEAD HARNETT - NEVER SAY NEVER

Francis teamed up with up Nick Brewer and the beautiful Sinead Harnett for this cinematic and stylishly lit music video for their new track “Never say never”.

BLONDE "Feel Good" featuring Karen Harding

Francis had the tough job of directing the video for Blonde’s new track “feel good” featuring lovely vocals by Karen Harding and shot out in Rio de Janeiro Brazil! Set against the backdrop of the favelas and Copacabana beach watch as this story of injustice consumes you!

eBay : SANTAS HELPER’S

Francis recently directed this merry little number for eBay. Originally created for the German market Francis has added his own English voiceover.

HARD ROCK SOFA FT SKIDKA "ARMS AROUND ME"

Francis directed this quirky and fun video featuring contortionists extraordinaire Jabu and JR from Soweto. Shot at night out in Johannesburg watch as our charismatic dancers literally make moves to impress a till girl at a gas station

QAISIMI "VIDEO GAME WARS"

Francis created this compelling fashion film for Qasim. Taking inspiration from the designers ( Khalid Qasimi) experience of the gulf war in his youth as well as the rebuilding and regeneration of life.

ELIZA AND THE BEAR "LIGHT IT UP"

Francis was recently commissioned by Universal records to make Eliza and the bear’s new video for their track "Light it Up". Unsung "heroes" of the night sets the theme for this uplifting and captivating video as we watch them bring pleasure to their working environment in an inspiring manner through dance.

Black Skulls London

Francis linked up with Hackneys finest Black Skulls. Girls, Bikes and leather Jackets all coming together in this stylish fashion film for their new clothing range. Shot out in the docklands London.

Francis continues his collaborations with Richard James with this colourful piece for their spring summer 2014 collection.

Kenzie May - Skeleton Key

Francis recently directed this beautiful & sultry music video for the talented US- British singer songwriter Kenzie May. Shot over a day and a half over a few locations around London. It had its US exclusive with SPIN last week (06/02/14)

M&S DIRECTORS CUT

Francis recently directed these M&S spots for their in store screens. Because these films are shot portrait style and meant to be shown singularly, the challenge comes in trying to make them work collectively in an edit. The edit above reflects a montage of the many outfits we went through.

KODY NIELSON ’DEMONS’

Francis recently directed this music video featuring the wonderful B-Girl Terra for New Zealand artist Kody Nielson. Check out some jaw dropping acrobatics as Terra pulls out the moves, the fact that she’s only six and due to filming regulations meant the video had to be shot entirely in a 7 hour timeframe. Hope you like!

Rousseau In Good Company

Francis continues his ever growing collaboration with Richard James, this time asked to create a film for this seasons campaign. Delighted with his work Francis has now been asked to create a film for there 21st anniversary as a leading beacon in mens fashion.

E & F ’TONIGHT’

Francis has recently been at work directing Eli & Fur’s new video for their single ’Tonight’. Cleary influenced by his recent work in the fashion world Francis takes us to a darker and more stylized place in this performance video for the lovely DJ’ing duo.

Francis was recently commissioned by Julien Macdonald to shoot a little fashion film alongside the stills team for his new bespoke collection. See the result first here!

lonesome

(2010)

Shot in a car park in east London, Lonesome was winner of the best Short film of the month of December at Shortcutz film festival. This was followed up by its selection for British shorts at Berlin Film Festival (January 2011).

SURRENDER ! VOLUTE

This is the new track and single for Surrender. This one was taken back home and was shot on location over a weekend in Lisbon Portugal.

When approached by Bengt to direct their new Campaign video, Francis jumped at the opportunity! Not only would he be working with two friends heading the Brand, but he was also given Carte Blanche to do as he pleased creatively. They love it! He hopes you do too.

Fancy footwork (Breakdance)

Francis recently joined forces with dancing trio ‘The Rollin Dices’ to create this playful dance piece. Whilst the guys were looking to showcase their skill Francis took the opportunity to use it as a platform to experiment with some new effects and tricks, in doing so hopefully diverting it from being just another “performance piece”.
